SEO AND AI SEARCH
OWN YOUR RANKINGS ON GOOGLE, BING, AND INSIDE AI ANSWERS.
SEO has changed. AI-generated search results now appear above organic listings on millions of searches. PLabs builds SEO strategies designed to perform in both traditional search results and the new AI answer layer, building sustainable organic traffic that compounds over time.
▲ THE PROBLEM
WHERE MOST BRANDS LOSE VALUE.
Most SEO strategies are built for a search landscape that no longer exists. Changes to Google algorithm and the emergence of AI-generated answers have fundamentally altered what it takes to rank. Brands that do not adapt are losing organic traffic to competitors who have.
▲ OUR APPROACH
HOW WE APPROACH IT.
PLabs starts with a technical audit, content gap analysis, and competitive landscape review. Strategy is built around search intent, not keyword volume alone. Content is developed to satisfy both human readers and AI summarisation systems.

▲ KEY METRICS WE TRACK
▲ CONTEXT
WHEN IT WORKS BEST.
Businesses committed to a 6 to 12 month timeline for compounding results. Brands with existing domain authority who want to accelerate. Companies launching new sites who need to build visibility from the start.
▲ SEO AS WE ACTUALLY PRACTICE IT
MOST CONSULTANCIES KNOW WHAT SEO IS. FEW KNOW HOW IT ACTUALLY WORKS.
There is a difference between knowing the vocabulary of SEO and understanding the mechanisms behind it. PLabs sits in the second group. Here is what that looks like in practice.
PAGE SIZE IS NOT THE SAME AS PAGE RANK.
Page size refers to how much content and code your page contains. Page rank refers to the authority Google assigns to that page based on the quality and quantity of links pointing to it. Conflating them is one of the most common mistakes in SEO briefings.
A small, well-linked page will outrank a large, bloated one every time. We audit both independently because the fixes are completely different. A page size problem is technical. A page rank problem is a content and authority problem. Treating one as the other wastes months.
GOOD CLICKS VERSUS BAD CLICKS.
Not all clicks are equal. Google tracks not just whether a user clicked your result but what they did next. A user who clicks, reads for four minutes, and does not return to the results page is a strong positive signal. A user who clicks and immediately returns is a negative one.
This is why click-through rate alone is a misleading metric. A high CTR with high bounce back is worse than a lower CTR with deep engagement. We optimise for the full click behaviour cycle, not just the initial click.
LONG CLICKS AND SEARCH VISIBILITY.
A long click is when a user clicks your result and stays on your page long enough that Google interprets the visit as satisfying. It is one of the strongest signals in Google's ranking algorithm and one of the least discussed.
Long clicks are driven by content that genuinely answers the user's query, page speed that does not make them wait, and a reading experience that does not fight them. We engineer for long clicks explicitly. Content structure, internal linking, and on-page UX are all designed to keep users engaged long enough to send that signal.
AI OVERVIEWS ARE REDUCING CLICKS. HERE IS WHAT TO DO.
Google's AI Overviews answer queries directly in search results. For informational queries, this means fewer users ever reach your website even when you rank first. Impressions are rising. Clicks are falling. Most brands have not noticed yet because their reporting does not separate these signals.
The response is not to abandon SEO. It is to optimise for citation. Brands that appear as sources inside AI Overviews get indirect authority signals that compound over time. We build content specifically structured to be cited by AI, not just ranked by the traditional algorithm.
▲ OUR SEO INTELLIGENCE TOOL
MEET DABBL.
SEO INTELLIGENCE THAT MOST TOOLS DO NOT SHOW YOU.
DABBL is PLabs' proprietary martech intelligence layer. It is the technology behind Step 02 of the PLabs Method, the audit that runs across every channel before we recommend a single dollar of spend.
It is not an SEO tool. It is a cross-channel diagnostic that happens to go deeper on SEO than any standard tool because search behaviour affects how every other channel performs.
When your SEO is broken, your paid search costs more. When your attribution is broken, your SEO looks worse than it is. DABBL reads these relationships together.
WHAT DABBL TRACKS ACROSS ALL CHANNELS:
01
Click quality signals across paid and organic
Good clicks versus bad clicks. Long click rates versus pogo-sticking. For paid this is post-click behaviour. For organic this is search satisfaction.
02
Page authority versus page size, separated
So fixes are targeted. A page size problem is technical. A page rank problem is authority. Treating one as the other wastes months.
03
Attribution integrity across the full funnel
Where credit is being assigned incorrectly. Which channels look good in your dashboard but are not actually generating pipeline.
04
Crawl efficiency scoring
How much of Google's crawl budget is being spent on pages that should not be indexed. This affects both SEO and the quality of audiences in paid.
05
AI Overview citation tracking
Which pages are being cited inside Google's AI answers and which are being bypassed entirely. This is the newest signal. Most tools do not track it yet.
06
Spend versus organic overlap by query
Where you are paying for clicks on queries you already rank for organically. DABBL flags the specific queries where paid spend is redundant so budget can be redirected.
DABBL is not a public tool. It is the intelligence layer behind every PLabs engagement. When you work with PLabs, DABBL is part of what you are getting.
TALK TO US ABOUT SEO▲ QUESTIONS
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS.
SEO improves your website visibility in search results by aligning your content, technical structure, and authority signals to what search engines reward. PLabs handles the full stack from technical fixes to content creation.
Engagements start from $600 per month for ongoing SEO management, depending on site size, competitiveness, and the scope of content production required.
Neither is better. They serve different objectives and timelines. SEO builds durable organic visibility that compounds over time. Paid delivers immediate, controllable results. PLabs helps you allocate intelligently between both.
Technical fixes can improve performance within weeks. Ranking improvements for competitive keywords typically take 3 to 6 months. Sustained organic traffic growth is a 6 to 12 month investment.
